Tyler Lemley Hayes

Apprentice Dancer

Tyler Hayes is a dancer and choreographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. With almost two decades of experience, she has developed a love and passion for movement and bringing joy to others through dance. She first began her creative endeavors at Rome Civic Ballet in Rome, Georgia. It was there that she was encouraged to continue her dancing at a collegiate level. Tyler was accepted into Kennesaw State University’s Department of Dance where she has performed with the KSU Dance Company for six semesters. While studying and training within the department, she has danced with, learned from, and performed for many esteemed dance and theory professionals. Among those she has worked with, Lisa K. Lock, Sean Nguyen Hilton, Tammy Everhart, Autumn Eckman, McCree O’Kelley, and Andrea Knowlton have strongly impacted her in a variety of ways. She has also had the privilege to take classes with guest performers and choreographers such as Ido Gidron, Jamal White, and Tentacle Tribe Dance Company. Tyler is eager to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a modern concentration and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She has goals of intertwining her love of dance, health, and fitness into her future career. Dance has been the root of joy for her since the time she first stepped foot into the studio and she is thrilled to be dancing with SOMOS The Dance Company in their season two production this year.
