Christina J. Massad
Company Dancer
Christina J. Massad is a freelance dancer, choreographer, photographer, videographer and dance teacher in Atlanta. She graduated from Kennesaw State University in December of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies and Entertainment, Magna Cum Laude where she was the awarded the Outstanding Senior in both of her majors. She spent 6 semesters performing in national and international artists works including Ido Tadmor, Ella Ben-Aharon, James Graham, Dr. Ivan Pulinkala, Sean Nguyen-Hilton and Christine Welker.
Since graduating, she's performed professionally for The Atlanta Opera, Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre, Otis Sallid, Gunna + Iann Dior, Fly on a Wall, Omar Román de Jesus, CoreDance, Dr. Ivan Pulinkala, Metropolis Productions, SOMOS and The Alliance Theatre to name a few.
Christina is currently choreographing works for Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre Student Company and The Alliance Theatre for The Very Young this season. She has previously presented her choreographic dance work, “is-rael-i” at Fly on a Wall's 2022 Excuse The Art, 2019 Modern Atlanta Dance Festival, and at the 2018 KSU Dance Company Spring Concert.
She is a Team Member of Fly on a Wall where she helps run the organization and leads Open Bounce, a program she created where she teaches weekly dance classes to underserved youth. Christina teaches ballet, contemporary and strength & conditioning at Footnotes Dance & Acrobatics throughout the week. Her photography and videography jobs have taken her all over Georgia, Hawaii and Chicago.
Christina thrilled to be a SOMOS Company Dancer for her second consecutive season.
